Qualified Electrician

Join our team of skilled electricians and work on installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial settings. Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols and regulations and have obtained a Gold Card in connection with an NVQ qualification, have the 18th edition of the Wiring Regulations and the industry recognised AM2 test. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are a must. A full clean driving licence is also required.

Data Engineer

Join our installation team to deliver high-quality cabling solutions across commercial environments. You’ll install, terminate, and test cabling systems, along with containment, in line with project specifications. A solid understanding of Cat6/6A and both multi-mode and single-mode fibre is essential, along with experience using data testers and related tools. Applicants must hold a Level 3 ECS Network Infrastructure Installer Card, plus valid PASMA and IPAF certifications. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are a must. A full clean driving licence is also required.

Apprenticeships

If you’re ready to jump-start your career as an apprentice through learning data cabling and/or electrical skills whilst gaining valuable hands-on experience, we want to hear from you! This role requires proficiency in Maths and English, plus a strong interest in electrics and/or data. If you are willing to learn, able to work effectively in a team and have great attention to detail Whitestar will support you in gaining all the qualifications you need. A full clean driving licence would be a distinct advantage.

Estimator

We’re looking for a detail-driven Estimator to help shape the success of our commercial electrical and data projects. In this role, you’ll analyse project requirements, prepare accurate estimates and quotations, and work closely with clients and our internal teams to develop competitive proposals from the initial brief through to handover. A solid understanding of the commercial electrical industry is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is a must, and a background in construction would be a distinct advantage.
